Sunday School

While many Catholic CCD programs occur on a weekday afternoon, as a congregation founded by former Protestants with a desire to remain welcoming to those of our prior tradition, at St. Thomas More we have retained the pattern of children's Sunday School, meeting on Sunday mornings prior to the 10:00 Mass, September through May. Classes are grouped according to age and study material:
- Preschoolers and Elementary Grades meet for 30 minutes beginning at 9:00 a.m.. Choir members then go off the 9:30 a.m. rehearsal.
- Middle Schoolers (grades 6 & 7 or 7 & 8, depending upon the year) meet for one hour beginning at 8:30 a.m.. Choir members are then dismissed 9:30 a.m. rehearsal.
- High Schoolers (grades 8-12 or 9-12, depending upon the year) meet for 30 minutes at 8:30 a.m., and then choir members are dismissed for 9:00 a.m. rehearsal with the adult singers.
All instruction is provided by qualified volunteers, and/or by Fr. Bergman himself. All teachers have undergone rigorous Safe Environment screening and training.
